3.2.0 Release – Backup/Restore

Finally the latest big update of COL Reminder is now live.
With 3.2.0 I have set the focus to the Backup and Restore features.

So with 3.2.0 COL Reminder supports now external SD-Cards on Android 5.x (Lollipop) and up!

But this is not enough.
I have made a complete recode of the backup and restore procedures.
So it should now work really great.

Local backup is good, but I think better is the cloud backup.
So I decided to add Google Drive Automatic Backup and Restore to COL Reminder.

You can now login to Google Drive and it will be automatically backuped to Google Drive.
Once you have a new phone and want to restore your last backup simply login again to Google Drive and all will be automatically restored! GREAT!

For new users I have also added a Welcome screen with the first steps to take.
First Google Drive Login for automatic Restore and Backup. Second for enabling Quick Call Reminder.
And last one to choose the default Add Mode (Quick Add Bar or Plus Sign).

Last but not least COL Reminder 3.2.0 now also supports the new App Shortcuts introduced in Android 7.1!

If you use the Action Launcher from Chris Lacy this is also available for lower versions of Android.
