Google is restricting which apps can access Call Log
For a few weeks I got a mail from Google I have to remove the Call Log from my app because they change the policy.
Only some apps can use the Call Log after the end of this year.
So sadly I have to remove 2 features:
- Show the Call Log inside COL Reminder (Telephone Reminder)
- Quick Call Reminder after a call to add quickly the last called number
For the first one, show Call Log, I have a little workaround. I will show the phones call log and the user have to share the contact with COL Reminder (bad user experience I know).
The second one, Quick Call Reminder, has to be removed completly.
There exists no workaround for this on Android 9.
For Android 8 and below it should work as before but without warranty.
